Who we are, What we do
We’re a multidisciplinary studio, experienced in all things design.
Fuge took flight on 1 March 2008 from Johannesburg, South Africa with a husband and wife team, creative and hungry with a vision to make the world functionally prettier. Over the years we’ve shaped long-lasting relationships with clients, grown our portfolio, skill and team, and Fuge has established itself as a niche and bespoke design agency known for exceptional quality design, strategic thinking & business consulting. Our studio is filled with pens and notepads, apple devices and half-drunk coffee cups, earphones and music, phones a-buzz and every now and again a studio dog barking. It’s (re)Fuge.
We’re a team of creatives. Professional in corporate environments but a bit weird and wonderful in front of our Apple screens. Our in-house team are masters at their craft and we collaborate with a skilled team of specialists as and when the need arises.

Anri Shaw
Co-Founder / Creative Director
Anri is a brand specialist and her sweet spot lies in graphic design and illustration. Working with a multiple of brands in different genres has given her the ability to understand difficult business concepts and simplifying them through design. She lives within her own creative chaos but is a perfectionist in project execution.
Elben Shaw
Co-Founder/ Managing Director
Elben is skilled in building brands, products and experiences from the ground up. With a background in all things digital, his strength lies in UX/UI design, project and operational management and conceptual design. He has a love for new tech, continuously educating himself on the latest trends and is truly a peoples person.
Anria Leeuwner
Digital Marketing Strategist / Social Media Educator / Insights Enthusiast
With over a decade of decoding algorithms, crafting campaigns, and translating data into ROI, Anria thrives where research meets results. She’s passionate about weaving together the many moving parts of a campaign—whether across social media or strategy workshops, to bring a shared vision to life. Surrounded by diverse, detail-driven creativity, Anria has grown into a lifelong learner, always on the lookout for her next opportunity to evolve. She loves people, and nothing excites her more than seeing them win.
Bianca Boshoff
UX/UI Designer
Solution-oriented and highly analytical, Bianca possesses an exceptional gift for noticing the tiniest of details. Being a true team player, she is continuously learning always prepared to tackle any UX/UI challenge thrown her way…if she can it will be with a green and black Monster-drink in hand of course. Bianca is a true creative with a unique perspective, loveable quirkiness and a Sims enthusiast.
Chané Malherbe
Graphic Designer
Chané majored in graphic design and is enthusiastic about refining her skills and mastering her craft. She tackles every project with positivity, infusing her work with dedication. Fueled by coffee and a lemon poppy seed muffin, Chané truly shine when she’s creating a new brand or captures a concept through illustration. Chané identifies as a #jesusfreak, loves horses and never backs down from a challenge. She models our company values and is a proud Fugetive since 2023. He has a love for new tech, continuously educating himself on the latest trends and is truly a peoples person.
Olivia Yssel
Social Media Marketer
Olivia brings passion, drive, and a sharp creative eye to the Fuge team. With a UX/UI degree and a constant stream of fresh ideas, she approaches each day with curiosity and intention. From bold visuals to smart content, Olivia is all about creating work that not only looks good, but works hard - just like her in the CrossFit Gym. She thrives on solving problems through design and fuels her curiosity through constant learning, and grounding herself in strong personal values that guide everything she does.
